### **Grant access to resources**

Once your collaborators have been invited to your organization, you can grant them access to the modules you want to work on together. To do so:

1. Open the module of your choice.
2. Click the **three dots** in the top-right corner of the module.
3. Select **“Members”** (you will see the list of people who already have access to the module).
4. Click **“Add.”**
5. Choose, from the list of collaborators already added to your workspace, the person you want to invite to this module.
6. Select their **role** within the module.

Your collaborator will instantly gain access to the module and can begin working with you.

### **Understanding roles and access levels in edtake**

edtake provides a role management system that allows you to assign different access levels to members of your organization. Each role defines what actions a user can perform, whether within the organization or inside specific resources.

#### Roles within an organization

**Manager:**
A manager has access to the organization settings, as well as to all organization resources and any resources they have been added to. An organization may have multiple managers, and one of them is designated as the owner.

**Editor:**
An editor can use the platform and manage their profile. They can access the resources they have been added to but do not have access to the organization settings. They can only modify the resources for which they have permission.

#### Access levels within resources

**Read:**
The user can view a resource, access previews, and export its content, but cannot edit the resource.

**Write:**
The user can fully modify a resource.

### **Good to know**

If you remove a user from your workspace, ownership of their resources will be transferred to the administrator who performed the removal.
