# Mastering the edtake Authoring Tool Integrated with Copilot IA

*The integrated authoring tool is a powerful tool that allows you to design interactive and engaging training courses, with deep customization of each educational element. Like a director orchestrating a performance, you can structure your courses smoothly, transforming theoretical concepts into dynamic learning experiences. With this editor, you become the creator of tailor-made learning paths, guiding your students toward a deep and lasting understanding of the subject at hand.*

Once your training module is created, you can access the **authoring tool**, an **intuitive and ready-to-use workspace**.

Two options are available to get started:

**Automatic Content Generation**: When entering a sequence, you can choose to **generate content using AI**, with the option to select what you want to produce. For example, you can opt to create **only the course**, or include the **glossary** as well.

**Manual Content Addition**: If you prefer full control over your training structure, you can **add your first content block manually**. Simply click on the **"Add a Block"** button, which will open a **library of available blocks**. Each block is designed to meet **various educational needs**, offering you **great flexibility** in structuring your content.

Once a block is added, it immediately appears in **editing mode**, allowing you to customize its content to your specific needs. In this mode, two main actions are available:

-   **Save changes**: This option saves your changes and switches the block to **view mode**.
-   **Cancel changes**: This option discards your changes and returns the block to its original state.

In **view-only mode**, when you hover over a block, several options appear:

-   **Left action bar**: You can modify the order of blocks in your module by dragging them.
-   **Right action bar**: Several options are available:
    -   Switch to editing mode to modify the block.
    -   Duplicate the block to create a copy.
    -   Access the color palette menu to customize the block’s appearance.
    -   Access size, spacing, and layout settings (for 2-column blocks) to adjust the layout.

-   Use animations for block entry effects.
-   Delete the block if necessary.

Additionally, when you hover over a block, an **add button** appears at the bottom of the block, allowing you to open the block library and insert a new element into your module at any time.
